So you just started getting into digital patterns and you would like to not only use them in Sure Cuts A Lot but you would also like to store them somewhere so you can use them in multiple projects. If this sounds like what you're trying to do then this lesson is for you. This will be a simple guide to show you how you can load your own seamless pattern and store it in your library for future use.
Select the shape to apply the pattern.
With the shape selected you'll want to go look under the properties section and click the Fill Drop down menu.
Once you select Pattern as a choice a new window will appear.
Two Main Tabs - My Patterns & Load Image
The first tab is My Patterns. This is basically your library. You can add and remove patterns by using buttons at the top. See Label 1.
By selecting the folders you will see a preview on the window on the right. See Label 2.
The second tab is - Load Image and this tab is more for those times when you have a pattern that you will only use once in you whole crafting career and there would be no reason to keep it stored in your library.
Select and Preview
After you make a selection you can click the preview button and it will reflect on the mat.
Adding pattern to Library
Click on the My Patterns (Label 1) folder and select the new file button (Label 2). A new window will appear and you can select you seamless pattern.
You will now be able to use this pattern in multiple projects because it is now saved in your library.
