How to Export All Your Expansion Packs to Move to A New Computer
This feature was created for those that have bought a new computer and would like to move all the expansion packs over to the new computer. This is a time saver expecially when you have 12+ codes that you need to enter in order to get your new Scrap Factory Computer up to standard.
Go to File> Export Expansion Pack Library
This will take all of the current expansion packs that you have in stalled in the Scrap Factory program and will give you an option to save the file.
Choose the location and click save.
This will be a TXT or text file type when you save it. This is the file needed when you are ready to import.
On your new computer you will need to Import
So you exported your Expansion Pack library in the previous step. Now you need to import it on your new computer.
Make sure that you bring that TXT file that you created over to your new computer. You can do this with thumbstick, CD, emailing it to yourself...etc
As you can see from the image below there isn't anything
For importing go to File> Import Expansion Pack Library
You will navigate to the TXT file that you created on your other computer and select it.
After import you will see a status
This will automatically install Expansion Packs that are not in your library and skip the ones that were detected as duplicates.
